[To The Death]

Composition is very nice..good build ups allot of different instruments and articulations...but the whole thing sounds as a re-recording...as if your playing this over a PA system and record it with a stereo mic in a large room, or your master reverb was way to wet, or this was your intention :D

I give it 4 stars cause it lost allot of power because of this master

Thanks for your review ... I admit that I don't know much about mix/master etc ... I used Finale 2009 and the Garritan Personal Orchestra samples and the reverb plugin that comes with Finale ... I have become aware that the reverb is not good, and I aim to learn how to do this better in the future. It was definitely not my intention for the reverb to sound the way it ended up. :) I listened to the composition playback on my KRK 6400 monitor headphones while I was writing it and it sounded really good, It wasn't until the day before the deadline that I heard it on a 2.1 speaker setup that I heard all the lousy reverb that I wish was different. It's amazing how --different-- it sounded then.

ik vind dit lekkah :D mist alleen wat background noise/pads, komt daardoor nog wat leeg over...maar goed dat kan netzo goed een keuze zijn geweest en dan is mijn review op de eerste 4 woorden na onnodig :P

a lump of wave...composition could be ok but this is just one lump of wave...contains clippings, noise and NO dynamics...can't really give a normal rating to this so i will say in my comment, i give you a '0'. But the actual rating will be a 6 so this comment won't be banned (that quickly)

Also i think everybody who has commented is a troll (so i have been trolled), or all kids here really don't know shit about music

Well, this is certainly an abusive comment if I've ever seen one. So because this song's not perfect that makes it a troll song and everyone is out to troll you? Honestly, dude, fuck off. vengeance samples!...not really wanna point that out...nice composition but i really don't like the mix..the fat bass is all in front but the back-up/second bass has zero power and or volume..compression mistake?
Anywho..this dick is signing out.

Meh. I don't see anything wrong with using vengeance samples. They are a bit noticeable in tunes but they are common samples that are above average so they satisfy my needs. The mastering on this track is shit. I've been only at producing for a year now so my mastering skills are garbage. Plus, everything is mastered on my studio monitors. I just make the kicks thud and my mid range stand out. On monitors this tune is perfect, but on headphones it is all over the place. I can't find an in between.
