Good Idea

Brainfart,

I want to make a song, where there are multiple leads stacked underneath each other.

But you will hear fully only on one section.

So lets say you make a 16 bar loop of all 4 lead/melody instruments, same key but completely different in rhythm and note pattern.

While recording, don't listen to the other tracks.

Stack them and only hear INST 1 on the first 1e bars

INST 2 on the 2e 4 bars

INST 3 on the 3e 4 bars

INST 4 on the 4e 4 bars

I could also just say ETC.

This 16 bar loop can be then the main theme but not chorus, or it could just be that.

I like to know if other people would like to also make something like this?

Or maybe have better ideas :D i'm always open for that
